It takes just a few weeks after Sony announced a 16.41 megapixel camera module. Sony Ericsson Announces Cybershot S006 will launch their mobile phone with a resolution of 16.2 MP.
This phone is designed for operator KDDI, equipped with a large touch screen and built-in megapixel camera with such a sophisticated digital camera. The camera on this phone using CMOS autofocus sensor with high sensitivity up to ISO 12800 and R. Exmor image processing such as camera phones, perhaps, quite capable of replacing the camera, but apparently only for Japanese consumers.

Other specifications of this product is Sony Ericsson's latest 3.3-inch touchscreen display, a processor with a speed of 1 GHz (Qualcomm's Snapdragon Platform), wireless support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, FM radio and a GPS receiver and there is an Infrared port, 700MB internal memory and MicroSD/MicroSDHC memory card slot (up to 16GB). In addition, enclosed in a waterproof casing that allows to make a good picture on the beach or in the rain. Unfortunately, the operating system that is used but not the Android OS have a Sony Ericsson itself. KDDI Cybershot S006 will be launched in Japan early in 2011.
